Generac 7170 WiFi/LAN/Ethernet Mobile Link For Air Cooled & Liquid Cooled Generators made 2010 and after with Nexus, Evolution 1.0 & 2.0, Honeywell Sync 2.0 & 3.0. Also goes by part number G0071700.
This new WiFi Mobile Link accessory allows you to remotely monitor your standby generator via WiFi or a hard wired LAN (ethernet) cable directly to the generator. This is beneficial for customers who don't have good Verizon cell coverage at their locations, or just want the less expensive monitoring subscription of the WiFi version of Mobile Link.
This accessory attaches to your home standby or commercial generator and connects it with Generac's Mobile Link monitoring service (separate subscription required), giving you real-time access to critical information about your generator’s status - anytime, anywhere.
The Mobile Link WiFi (or ethernet LAN) accessory is easy to use and works in tandem with Generac's Mobile Link app and website to provide 24/7 365 monitoring of your standby generator without the need for Verizon cellular coverage.
This kit can also be used to replace the older 6463 3G cellular version of Generac's Mobile Link system which has been phased out. This does not work with all Generac models and makes, and some models that accepted the older 3G cellular Mobile Link do not communicate properly with this new WiFi accessory.
If using this with a Generac Liquid Cooled Standby Generator an extension harness is required for use!
