Generac 0J1240 Airbox Mixer Assembly For 8kW Nexus Air Cooled. If your airbox has exploded from a backfire, the ignition system should be checked for issues! Backfiring can be caused by bad ignition coils, spark plugs, and mis-adjusted valves.
These airboxes are different than the 8kW's made in 2008-2009 with the Pre-Nexus controller (only has LED indicator lights, not a digital screen). There are more than one of these style airboxes for Nexus units, so please have your serial number available unless you know for sure which one you need.
