Generac 0D9235BSRV Oil Pressure Switch Kit is available to replace the older single wire style switches found on many older 7kW single cylinder 410CC engines and other generators. Oil pressure switch has 1/8"-27 NPT threads and is Normally Closed (N.C.).
Please note that these kits are now shipping with a new style sensor that doesn't use the screw down connections like the picture shows, but rather a push-on style connector. The kits that are shipping still have the jumper wire setup for the screw down style connections. One end of that jumper must have a push on connector field-installed by the end user. See the new image.
Kit replaces old switch part number 099236 on Home Standby Units only. For Portable generators continue to use 099236. Also replaces 0D9235. On Liquid Cooled generators replace 099236 with 0A8584
Kit includes small instruction sheet to explain how to connect the new ground wire that's included with the kit. Install is very easy and takes just a few minutes.
Note that you must use caution when installing oil pressure switches due to their threads being tapered. Over tightening will cause the threads to crack the engine's oil pressure port.
Generac replacement parts will also usually fit the following Generac branded generators: Honeywell, Guardian, Siemens, Carrier, Watchdog, Centurion, & Bryant.
