If the serial # on the unit is before 3691548, you must order this 0D45220ESV retrofit kit. After serial# 3691548 use this stepper (0D4522).
Regulates engine speed on generators with electronic governors. Replaces bad stepper motors. Can be tested using quality digital multi-meter before replacement. If the gears are stripped inside the small gearbox, check for overloaded condition on the generator.
