Having cold weather Overcrank alarms and other starting issues? Generac uses the standard type 0F5022 fuel solenoid on almost all generators made prior to 2013 in both Air Cooled and Liquid Cooled models. In areas that get freezing weather, these solenoids and the plungers that are actuated by them, can stick from moisture in the fuel and cause Overcrank alarms. This kit will improve the fuel solenoid function and eliminate most cold weather fuel issues.
This updated kit comes with a larger updated cold weather fuel solenoid, longer fuel plunger with anti-stick coating, and also a replacement cork gasket. Should also be combined with a Cold Weather Kit which will improve overall cold weather starting and performance.
If you're adding this kit to a Liquid Cooled generator, confirm whether the generator has multiple fuel regulators which will each have a fuel solenoid. You will need 1 kit for each fuel regulator that the unit has!
Generac replacement parts will also usually fit the following Generac branded generators: Honeywell, Guardian, Siemens, Carrier, Watchdog, Centurion, & Bryant.
